Hearty Beef Slow Cooker Stew

A Hearty Beef Slow Cooker Stew that’s good for your insides and out- rich in veggies, Vitamin C, A & Zinc for healthy skin during these drying months!

This Hearty Beef Slow Cooker Stew is packed with gut-loving veg and immune supporting nutrients to keep you going through the cold months! We love being all cosy on the couch with a big bowl of warming stew. There’s nothing better on a cold night! It’s also packed with skin loving nutrients like Vitamin C, A and Zinc so you’re not only giving yourself a warm night in but also a self-care skin routine too 😉

INGREDIENTS:

1kg chuck beef steak, cubed
2 Tbsp plain flour
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves
1 onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
2 zucchini, chopped
5 mushrooms, chopped
1 (400g) can chickpeas, drained
1 cup red wine
2 (400g) crushed tomatoes
2 Tbsp tomato paste
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp plain flour
2 Tbsp of herbs (oregano, basil, rosemary or parsley)
1 beef stock cube

METHOD:

  1. Coat steak with plain flour.
  2. Pour olive oil in a medium fry pan. Fry chuck steak over medium heat, until browned.
  3. Place all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low heat for 8 hours.
  4. Serve with rice, pasta, or a crunchy grain buttery bread roll and top with Parmesan cheese! Delish!
