In this Privacy Policy, ‘us’ ‘we’ or ‘our’ means WIRL Co Pty Ltd (ABN 63 654 446 045). We are committed to respecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act.

By providing personal information to us, you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and any other arrangements that apply between us. We may change our Privacy Policy from time to time by publishing changes to it on our website. We encourage you to check our website periodically to ensure that you are aware of our current Privacy Policy.

Personal information includes information or an opinion about an individual that is reasonably identifiable. For example, this may include your name, age, gender, postcode and contact details.

What if you don't provide your personal information to us?

Purposes for which we use information we automatically collect from you

Retention and deletion of data

We retain your Personal Information for as long as is needed for us to fulfil our obligations to you, for example to provide goods or services, or to provide marketing messages while you are subscribed. We may also need to store your Personal Information to comply with any tax or legislative requirements. When we no longer need to store your data for these reasons, we will either delete it to the extent technically practical, or anonymise it.

If you wish to delete your WIRL app account information you can do so in your profile settings under ‘My Details’ and follow the prompts. Please note this is not cancelling your subscription, you will need to cancel your subscription before you delete your account in order for payments to stop processing. Deleting your account is irreversible and means that you will no longer be able to access any of your data, history, stats, favourites and more. It also means you will no longer receive any further communications from us.

When you unsubscribe from our marketing communications, we will no longer contact you with marketing messages. However, this will not remove your Personal Information from our systems. If you would like for us to completely remove your Personal Information, you can email hello@wirl.app at any time.

Security

We may hold your personal information in either electronic or hard copy form. We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference and loss, as well as unauthorised access, modification or disclosure and we use a number of physical, administrative, personnel and technical measures to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.

Accessing or correcting your personal information

You can access the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the information below. Sometimes, we may not be able to provide you with access to all of your personal information and, where this is the case, we will tell you why. In order to protect you and your information we may also need to verify your identity when you request your personal information.

If you would like to request access to your personal information or should you think that any personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, you may contact us in writing and (subject to the limitations noted above) we will take reasonable steps to ensure your information is provided and / or that it is corrected. If you think we have breached the Privacy Act, or you wish to make a complaint about the way we have handled your personal information, you can contact us using the details set out below. Please include your name, email address and/or telephone number and clearly describe your complaint. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond to you regarding your complaint within a reasonable period of time.
